Analysts on Telephone:
Dr. Syed Abdul Siraj (IR Expert):
It is a serious issue that Deash and other extremist organizations are gaining grounds in Afghanistan, which is our neighboring country. Pakistan needs to take appropriate measures to improve its security and should enforce a new mechanism on Pakistan-Afghan crossing points that requires every Afghan to carry legal travel documents for entering the country. There are already some forces making all out efforts to destabilize Pakistan using Afghan soil but thanks to Allah Almighty that Pakistan is having world’s best army that is capable enough to deal with some threats.
Maj Gen (Retd) Zahir Shah (Expert on CPEC):
CPEC is game changer project that will benefit all the countries in the region and as far as Pakistan is concerned it is win-win project for us. All the long-term projects underway through CPEC will be completed till 2030. We can observe improvement in economy of different countries since this project started. The improving economy of the country is not indigestible to India so it is making its efforts to sabotage this project at all costs.
