In India, the pollution levels continued to remain in "severe category" in Delhi and adjoining areas posing severe risk to health. 

The pollution levels in neighboring areas of Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon and Faridabad also recorded between severe to hazardous.

Air Quality Index (AQI) measuring as high as 625.
