A special ceremony was held at Gayari, Siachen to pay homage to the martyrs, who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty in a massive avalanche in 2012.

Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman, Corps Commander Rawalpindi, Lieutenant General Nadeem Raza and relatives of martyrs attended the ceremony.

According to ISPR, speaking on the occasion, the Corps Commander said Pakistan Army will always remember its officers and men, who laid down their lives while defending the motherland.
