Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi says Kashmir is a cornerstone of Pakistan`s foreign policy and our stance on the issue is very clear.

In a telephonic talks with senior Kashmiri leadership, he said on Kashmir Solidarity Day, Pakistan will raise strong voice to highlight Indian persecution and brutalities being perpeterated in occupied Kashmir.

The Foreign Minister said Pakistan will continue to extend its political, moral and diplomatic support for the struggle of Kashmiris for their right to self determination in accordance with UN Security Council resolutions.

On Arrival in London,Foreign Minister talking to media urged the international community to play its due role in ending human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir by the Indian forces. He said international human rights organizations should take notice of use of pellet guns against innocent Kashmiris.

The Minister said India, the claimant of biggest democracy in the world, is committing atrocities against unarmed people of Kashmir struggling for their birth right to self-determination. He said no civilized society tolerates such kind of brutalities against humanity.

He said UN High Commissioner on Human Rights' Report has acknowledged grave rights violations.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi said the entire Kashmir valley went on strike against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the Occupied Kashmir, which reflects that the people of Kashmir wants to get rid of Indian slavery.

The Foreign Minister will address International Kashmir Conference tomorrow in the British Parliament.

He will attend an exhibition on Kashmir in Park Lane, London on Tuesday.
