The United States has announced to withdraw from the 2015 Paris climate agreement.

The announcement was made by President Donald Trump at the White House.

He said moves to negotiate a new "fair" deal that would not disadvantage US businesses and workers would begin.

The Paris agreement commits the US and  one hundred and eighty-seven other countries to keeping global temperatures rises well below two degrees Celsius.
