Sarfraz says that we are trying to stay relaxed and not take pressure. It is important to be relaxed and confident before every big game, to keep the nerves in check. When asked what bowling combination he plans to unleash against India, Sarfraz said the decision would be made after reading the pitch on the match day (June 4). It depends on how the pitch looks before the game. We will unleash our best pace attack, maybe three or four fast bowlers if needed, or a combination of spin and pace.

ICC Women's World Cup: Women's cricket team in high spirits as they leave for England

Pakistan woman cricket team was in high spirits as it left for England today to participate in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2017. The event will be held from June 24 to July 23 in England and Wales. Pakistan’s will play their first fixture against South Africa on June 25 but the team's greatest challenge will come on July 2 when they face their arch-rival India in the arena.

Pak-Ireland Hockey match ends in a draw

Pakistan’s first game of the three-match friendly series against Ireland ended in a 2-2 draw at Lisnagarvey. An interesting edge of seat contest saw the hosts twice coming from behind to hold Pakistan 2-2. The second match of the three test series is scheduled on Saturday. After this the national team would be playing the World Hockey League semi final round in London from June 15.
