Syria: 48 civilians killed in rocket attack
In Syria, forty-eight civilians have been killed in a rocket attack by the rebels on government-held areas in Aleppo.
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, Elite Syrian troops have moved into east Aleppo after significant gains against opposition forces.
Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov pledged military operations would continue until the city is "cleared of terrorists".
Russia has also offered UN for setting up four humanitarian corridors into east Aleppo to bring in aid and evacuate severely wounded people.
