Pakistan vows to continue full diplomatic, political and moral support to Kashmiri people till they achieve their right to self-determination
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif urges the PML-N leaders to focus their energies for the development and progress of Azad Kashmir. He congratulated PML-N candidates Sardar Abdul Khaliq Wassi and Chaudhry Muhammad Siddiq for their victory in Azad Kashmir Council elections. He said Pakistan will not forget the people of Kashmir, who are facing brute Indian atrocities to achieve their birth right to self-determination. Meanwhile, in an interview, Pakistan's High Commissioner to New Dehli, Abdul Basit said UNHRC and OIC have expressed concerns over gross human rights violations in IOK by Indian forces.

“After coming into power in 2013, the government took necessary and difficult steps to avoid predicted default, and ensure fiscal discipline and consolidation. The government undertook structural reforms, including restructuring Pubic Sector Enterprises and other measures including reduction in un-targeted subsidies and broadened the tax base. Measures were also taken to build foreign exchange reserves, contain inflation and overcome energy shortages. Pakistan's ratings have been improved by Rating Agency as acknowledgement of our achievements. The strengthening of the energy infrastructure and improving the security situation will be the key to achieving higher levels of growth in Pakistan.”

India signs $750million deal for purchase of 145 US howitzers- Indian deal replicates its heinous designs to create hegemony in the region
India has signed a $750 million agreement with the United States to buy 145 howitzer artillery guns from BAE Systems its first such deal in three decades. India, the world’s number one defence importer, is updating its military capabilities with hardware worth tens of billions of dollars in the face of long-standing tensions with China and Pakistan. According to a defence official in New Delhi, “India has signed the letter of acceptance which formalises the contract between India and the US for the howitzer guns,” .
