PM's special assistant says foundation stones of 21,000 megawatt power projects laid in one year
Special Assistant to Prime Minister on National Affairs Irfan Siddiqui has said August is the month of renewal of determination to achieve the objectives of the creation of Pakistan.
In an interview, he said the Independence celebrations, which were launched by Federal Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique at the Mazar-e-Iqbal will continue for the whole month.
Irfan Siddiqui said there has been a lot of improvement in all sectors in one year time of the government, but still much is to be done.
Highlighting the achievements of the government in one year, he said GDP growth rate has increased, stock market crossed the record figure of 30,000 points, foreign exchange reserves have increased, and foundation stones of 21000 MW power projects have been laid besides building dams and infrastructure development.
