Maintenance of peace priority of govt: Shaukatullah
The Governor says all possible steps are being taken to promote trade activities in FATA.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Engineer Shaukatullah has said that maintenance of peace and creating opportunities for economic development are the priorities of the government.
He was talking to office bearers and representatives of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chamber of Commerce and Industries during visit to the Chamber in Peshawar on Wednesday.
The Governor said that nation is facing problems but the situation would soon be normalized. He said the government is well aware of traders' problems and these would be resolved soon.
Referring to FATA, the Governor said that all the possible steps are being taken to promote trade activities there. He said that implementation of new laws for FATA will help in boosting trade activities.
The Governor said that internally displaced persons of Bajaur and Mohmand Agencies have returned to their homes. The affectees of Kurram will also be rehabilitated soon.
