President Dr Arif Alvi has said that Pakistan is facing the economic challenges and only investment in the country can overcome these crises.
Addressing a ceremony organized by Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said the government is providing all possible facilities for ease of doing business in the country.
The President said the OICIC can play a vital role in providing employment to the masses in its domain.
He said focusing on education of the children is also our collective responsibility as they are the future of Pakistan.
Dr Arif Alvi said Prime Minister Imran Khan informed the world through United Nations General Assembly about effects of global warming and negative impacts of climate change urging them to take concrete measures in this regard.
He said corporate sector should also play its role for reducing the impacts of climate change as international companies owe this responsibility for their consumers.
Dr Arif Alvi said a large number of children of our population are suffering with malnutrition and stunted growth which imposes negative impact on their height and brains development. He said should be eliminated malnutrition.
Emphasizing in overcoming breast cancer in the country, the President said that campaign should be launched to make women of the country to aware them about the fetal disease.
The President said government is committed to contain the population explosion as no country can progress if its population outgrows its resources.
