
Minister of state for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib says government has adopted prudent policies to control COVID -19 through sincere efforts and smart lockdown.
Talking to the media after his visit to a vaccination centre at Samanabad in Faisalabad today (Sunday), he expressed his satisfaction over the arrangements made for vaccination of people.
Farrukh Habib said that the government has sufficient stock of vaccine, and 25 million dozes would be available till next May-June.
He said that Pakistan has also started producing Indigenous protective equipment and highly technical ventilators for corona patients.
Regarding e-voting,Farrukh Habib said that a bill was introduced in the National Assembly in October 2020 and now it is pending before a standing committee.
He said it is the responsibility of the opposition to sit with treasury benches and settle down the issue once and for all.

Meanwhile, Visiting Ramazan bazaar at Iron Market, Minister of state for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib said that the government has provided subsidy of billions of rupees on daily-use items at Ramazan bazaars.
He said strict monitoring is under way to ensure transparency in the supply and sale of commodities for providing maximum relief to consumers.
Farrukh Habib also visited various stalls and checked quality, weight and prices of different commodities and said that zero tolerance policy would be adopted against profiteering and hoarding.
