Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said Pakistan's close contacts with Turkey are transforming into strong economic collaboration.

Talking to a delegation of Zorlu Enerji Group of Turkey in Lahore, he termed establishment of solar power plant by the famous Turkish business group as an important development.

During the meeting, different matters pertaining to one hundred megawatt power project at Quaid-e-Azam Solar Power Plant in Bahawalpur also came under discussion.

Shahbaz Sharif said provision of cheap electricity to the people will be possible through Quaid-e-Azam Solar Power Plant Project.

The Turkish investor group will set up 100 MW solar power plant in Punjab.
