Pakistan Army has further expedited relief activities in earthquake hit areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA.

According to ISPR, 2677 families were provided food packets on Sunday. More than 3000 tents and blankets were distributed in affected areas.

Army's Special Medical teams also provided free treatment to more than 2000 patients including women and children.

Army Aviation helicopters delivered more than five tons of ration and tents in the earthquake affected areas.

Pakistan Navy’s relief teams reached Bajaur Agency today and distributed relief goods among quake victims at Village PonaTalai, Tehsil Salarzai.

Another Pakistan Navy relief team visited Villages Banjar and Palana, Tehsil Alipuri of Shangla District and distributed relief goods amongst the people.

 Besides provision of relief goods, health facilities are also being provided by Pakistan Navy round the clock.

Deputy Commissioner Peshawar Riaz Khan Mehsud distributed cheques of six hundred thousand rupees each to the heirs of died and two hundred thousand rupees each among those critically injured in the earthquake.

On this occasion, he said that assessment teams have also completed survey of damages.

Meanwhile, Assistant Political Agency Kurram Agency also distributed cheques among the heirs of deceased and critically injured women in Parachinar.
