Govt dispatches 20 trucks of relief goods for KP
Prime Minister Choudhry Abdul Majeed directs for assessment of damages in Azad Kashmir to provide compensation.
The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Choudhary Abdul Majeed has said that Pakistan is destination to the people of Kashmir for which they have been offering tremendous sacrifices.
He was speaking to media in Kashmir House Islamabad on Sunday on the occasion of sending relief goods from the people of Azad Kashmir for their KPK brethren affected by the recent earthquake.
He said that 20 trucks containing food items, blankets and quilts had been dispatched for quake-hit people.
The Prime Minister also urged the concerned authorities to assess the damages of the quake in Azad Kashmir so that affected families could be compensated and rehabilitated.
He lauded the role of Armed Forces of the country in rescue and relief operation in the earthquake affected areas of Pakistan.
Referring to Occupied Kashmir the Prime Minister said that India was systematically massacring Kashmiris. He appealed the international community to use its influence to prevent India from Kashmiris’ genocide. He said world powers should also take note of the aggressive designs of Indian government and unprovoked firing from across the LOC on civilian population.
