Govt decides not to increase price of Hi-octane, light diesel
Prices of petrol and Hi-speed diesel have been increased by 2.5 and 1.75 rupees respectively
The government has decided not to increase prices of Hi-Octane, kerosene oil and light diesel to provide relief to the masses in view of the coming winter season.
Talking to newsmen in Islamabad, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said the government has only approved increase of 2.5 rupees and 1.75 rupees in prices of petrol and Hi-Speed diesel from November 1.
To a question, he said FBR has witnessed an increase of 20 per cent revenue collection in first quarter of the current fiscal year as compared to the last year.
Ishaq Dar said it has also been decided to extend time for filing of tax returns for one month and now the new date for this purpose will be 30th of the next month.
