Govt heading towards zero loadshedding next year: Khaqan
Petroleum Minister says huge amounts being spent on power projects to curb energy crisis.
Petroleum Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi says the government is heading towards zero loadshedding next year.
In an interview, he said Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz government after coming into power had focused on resolving the energy crisis and started many projects to meet growing demand of electricity in the country.
The minister said huge amounts are being spent on power projects to curb energy crisis and more than 10,000 megawatt of electricity will be added to the national grid next year.
The Minister said import of LNG would also help overcome energy shortage.
