Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan has said Kashmiris' right to self determination cannot be suppressed by using brute force in occupied Kashmir.

In an interview, he said Kashmiri nation is demanding their right of self determination for a long period.

Barjees Tahir recalled that former Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru had also accepted UN resolutions promising right of self-determination to Kashmiris, but this promise has not been fulfilled so far.

He said the Kashmiris have rejected the recent Indian parliamentary elections and only twenty percent people cast their vote.
