Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif says huge funds will be allocated in the next budget for power projects to overcome energy crisis.

Talking to Radio Pakistan's representative in Sialkot, he said all the available resources are being mobilized to resolve the energy issue at the earliest.

The Minister said loadshedding has considerably been reduced due to steps taken by the government and as a result the industrial units are fully engaged in production.

Khawaja Asif said work is in progress on short, mid and long term projects to achieve the targets set by the government in the energy sector.
