100,000 acres land in Cholistan to be distributed among deserving people
Cholistan Development Authority receives 54,000 applications in this regard.
In Punjab, 100,000 acres of state land in Cholistan is to be distributed among deserving people under the Punjab Chief Minister’s Cholistan Package.
This was stated by Managing Director of Cholistan Development Authority Iqbal Hussain while talking to Radio Pakistan’s Bahawalpur’s correspondent. He said that the authority has received 54,000 applications for the purpose while 11,000 applications have been scrutinized so far.
Responding to a question, Managing Director said that people of Cholistan have been demanding the allotment of land since long.
Iqbal Hussain said that tenders have also been invited for the rehabilitation of Cholistan’s 31 roads worth rupees 66 million.
