Pakistan's tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and his Swedish partner Robert Lindstedt have won the doubles final of the ATP World Grass Court Tennis Championship in Antalya.
The top seeds held a comfrotable 7-5, 4-1 lead in the final, when second seeds Oliver Marach and Mate Pavic retired from the match.This is the first title for the Pak-Swedish duo and third for Aisam-ul-Haq this year.


Pakistani female mountaineer set to make history by Spantik soloing

Pakistan’s Uzma Yousaf is set to make history as on Sunday she will be leaving as the sole female climber to scale 7,027 Metre high Spantik peak in the Spantik-Sosbun Mountains subrange of Karakoram in Nagar Valley of Gilgit-Baltistan.“I have been in love with climbing and adventure activities since my childhood but I’ve not been able to go on much expeditions,” the 43-year old mountaineer, who started her climbing career by scaling 6050 meter Mingling Sar in October last year and 5098 meter Rush Peak in February this year told media here on Saturday at a local hotel.

Novak Djokovic's warm-up for Next Week's Wimbledon continued in fine Style after he defeated Russia's Daniil Medvedev 6-4 6-4 in an entertaining Match in the first SEMI-Final of the Aegon International in Eastbourne, England.The Top Seed and World Number four Djokovic began the Match by breaking the World Number 52's serve in the opening game, but the Russian hit back in the fourth game with a break of his own. Medvedev then had three chances to break again in the eighth game before Djokovic held.
