Kabaddi academy to start from Monday
The Divisional Kabaddi Association will start a Kabaddi academy at Madina Town Hockey Stadium on Monday. The spokesman of the Kabaddi Association said that the new Kabaddi players of age up to 20 years will be provided Kabaddi training. International Kabaddi commentator Tayyab Gilani will deliver lectures whereas former Kabaddi players will impart training to the young players.
Olympians to inaugurate KP Inter-District Hockey Championship on Jan 12
Hockey Olympians will inaugurate Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inter-District Hockey Championship on January 12, 2017 at Lala Ayub Hockey Stadium Peshawar. Hockey Olympians will be invited to Peshawar to inaugurate the forthcoming Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inter-District Under-16 Boys Hockey Championship. Hockey Olympians and legendries Islahuddin Sadique, Sami Ullah, Iftikhar Sayed, Manzoor Ul Hassan, Shehnaz Sheikh, Rashid Ul Hassan, Salim Nazim, Iqbal Bali, Usman Sheikh, Olympian Hassan Sardar, Hanif Khan and Musaddiq Hussain will be received at the entrance of Qayyum Sports Complex for which all arrangements have already been made. The players of all the participating 13 districts will be arriving on January 11. Besides inaugurating the Championship, the Olympian would see the matches of the Championship and would give tips to the upcoming players.
Ronaldo Rejects An Offer From An Unnamed Chinese Club
World Player of the year Cristiano Ronaldo has turned down the chance to leave real Madrid for an unnamed Chinese club for a transfer fee of 300 Million Euros. Speaking to media at the globe Soccer Awards in Dubai, his agent Jorge Mendes said the deal would have been worth 100 Million Euros a year to the Portugal striker. News of the offer made to European Champions real came on the same day argentine striker Carlos Tevez joined the Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua from Boca Juniors. No financial details were disclosed but media reports said Shenhua had paid 84 Million Euros for former Manchester city and Manchester United forward Tevez. Ronaldo and his real Madrid teammates participated in a training session which was open to fans, following a tradition the club has followed in the festive season.
