Talks between the government and rebels in South Sudan will start in Ethiopia on Thursday.

This has been announced by the UN special representative to South Sudan‚ Hilde Johnson.

Meanwhile‚ the World Health Organization has warned of disease outbreaks in the country where one hundred and ninety thousand people have been displaced due to clashes between supporters of President Salva Kiir and his former deputy‚ Riek Machar.
