Pakistanâ€š India exchange nuclear installations' lists
Under the agreement‚ both the countries are bound to exchange their lists of nuclear installations each year.
Pakistan and India have exchanged list of their nuclear installations under their bilateral agreement in this regard.
According to Foreign Office‚ Pakistan handed over list of its nuclear installation to the Indian High Commissioner in Islamabad.
Similarly‚ Indian External Affair Ministry handed over its list to Pakistan High Commissioner in New Delhi today (Wednesday).
Under the agreement‚ both the countries are bound to exchange their lists of nuclear installations each year. The agreement was signed between the two countries in 1988.
Meanwhile‚ Pakistan and India have also exchanged the lists of prisoners under the Consular Access Agreement between the two countries.
According to Foreign Office‚ Pakistan has handed over a list of 281 Indian Prisoners‚ while India has reciprocated with a list detailing 396 Pakistani prisoners held in Indian jails. Among 396 Pakistani prisoners‚ 257 are civilians whereas 139 are fishermen.
On the other hand‚ 232 fishermen while 49 civilians are held in Pakistan jails.
