NA Parliamentary Secretary Petroleum says government has allowed CNG sector to import LNG
Parliamentary Secretary Petroleum in the National Assembly Shahzadi Umerzadi Tiwana has urged the provincial governments to pass on the relief given by the federal government by reducing oil prices.
Talking to Radio Pakistan on Sunday, she said petroleum prices have reasonably been slashed for the first time in the history.
To a question, she said CNG sector will not be closed completely and be available for consumers as an alternate fuel.
Shahzadi Umerzadi Tiwana said the government has allowed CNG sector to import Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) for its usage as CNG.
She said duration of electricity load-shedding of electricity will also be reduced in coming days. She said power shortage will be overcome by 2018.
