Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has said the government is pursuing a policy to launch uniform development activities at Tehsil and town level across the province.

Talking to a delegation of Kohistan in Peshawar, he said development funds would be utilized transparently. Besides forty crore rupees to each district, additional would also be provided. Far flung and backward districts would be developed on priority basis. Under mineral and environmental policies the benefits of forests and mineral deposits of Kohistan would reach to local population.

The Chief Minister said legislation would be made for Provincially Administered Tribal Areas through governor to facilitate people equally.

He announced quotes in government services and professional colleges for the affectees of Dasu and Bhasha dams. Moreover, the Chief Minister announced setting up of small industrial tax free zone, technical centers for the skilled manpower, interest free loans, construction of sixteen kilometer Pals Road and other incentives for the affectees.

The delegation thanked the Chief Minister for taking keen interest in development of Kohistan.
