A three-day 972nd Urs of Hazrat Ali bin Usman Hajveri, popularly known as Data Ganj Bakhsh (RA), began with religious zeal and reverence in Lahore on Tuesday.

The three-day celebrations formally started with the annual ritual of ghusal of the shrine. Federal Minister for Finance and Economic Affairs Muhammad Ishaq Dar laid a traditional chadar on the grave of the sufi saint.

On the occasion, special prayers are being offered for peace, prosperity and solidarity of the country.
