PM is in China to attend annual Boao summit
Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will also hold bilateral meeting with his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang.
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is in China to participate in Boao Forum for Asia which began in China on Wednesday.
Upon arrival at Sanya this evening, the Prime Minister was received by Deputy Governor of Hainan Province Chen Zhi Rong and by Ambassador of China to Pakistan Sun Wei Dong.
Prime Minister is accompanied by Special Assistant to Tariq Fatemi and Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif.
The Prime Minister would deliver a speech at the opening plenary of the BFA tomorrow which would be inaugurated by Chinese Premier Li Keqiang.
Later, he would join other world leaders, including the Prime Ministers of Australia, South Korea and Kazakhstan, at a banquet hosted by the Chinese Premier.
The Prime Minister would also make a keynote speech at a seminar on “Reviving the Silk Road” which would be attended by the leaders of China, Iran and Kazakhstan.
Besides attending the Forum, the Prime Minister would hold a bilateral meeting with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang.
The two leaders would review the progress in bilateral ties- with particular focus on economic cooperation and the China- Pakistan Economic Corridor.
PM will also meet Chairman EXIM Bank of China.
