Commerce Minister says regional trade could be boosted by linking Pakistan-Iran and Turkey through robust Railways network.
Commerce Minister Khurram Dastgir Khan says the government wants to liberalize the economy by increasing foreign trade with regional countries including Afghanistan, Iran and Central Asia Republics.
Addressing a function in Peshawar on Tuesday, he said the regional trade could be boosted by linking Pakistan-Iran and Turkey through robust Railways network.
Dastgir Khan said a review meeting of Pakistan Afghanistan trade agreement would soon be held to discuss Afghanistan transit trade.
Commerce Minister said infrastructure facility at Torkham, Chaman and Wagha lands Ports would be further improved for the promotion of the regional trade and investment.
