France to help Pakistan overcome energy crisis: Envoy
The Ambassador says forty-five French companies are working in different sectors in Pakistan.
France is extending cooperation to Pakistan in overcoming energy crisis.
Addressing businessmen in Multan on Tuesday, French Ambassador Philippe Thiebaud said his country is working on an 1100 megawatt electricity project at Uch Sharif.
He said his country is also working on big dams in northern areas of Pakistan. Small dams in Punjab and Sindh provinces will also help Pakistan overcome energy crisis.
He said Pakistan can also benefit from France's experience in solar energy sector.
The ambassador said forty-five French companies are working in different sectors in Pakistan.
